Questions
Deadlines, payment, ad design and how the mailing works. Anything else, your rep can answer the same day.
Everything here is also in the media kit for your market.
Because it is a niche publication and that is why it works. Readers pick it up to find professionals for their home, and they are not sidetracked by a dress shop or a jeweller between the ads. Every advertiser is in front of people already thinking about their house.
Each issue is printed once and mailed in two drops of 30,000 verified owner-occupied homes, thirty days apart. Both drops cover the whole market, each to a different half of the homes, so an issue reaches 60,000 unique homes and a magazine lands every month. That is why you are billed per drop.
We work with our mailing house to rank home values in the market, choose the areas our advertisers most want to reach, and narrow them by carrier route. Every address is a verified owner-occupied single-family home. The result is split between the two drops.
No. Single-family, owner-occupied homes only.
The magazine is direct-mailed only. If you are not on the list, the current issue is available to read online.
Our art department designs it at no charge. Bring photos and logos if you have them; if not, we use our stock library or contact your suppliers for images on your behalf.
Yes. The art team contacts you before every issue for changes. Ads with an offer, a coupon or a special draw three to ten times the calls of ads without one, so most advertisers rotate them.
About ten days before the in-mail date, and earlier around holidays. Your rep and the art department will give you the exact dates for each issue.
The artist will do everything possible to reach you before the deadline. The final notice tells you the ad will print as it stands once the art deadline passes.
Check, Visa, American Express, Mastercard and Discover. Accounts are auto-debited the Monday the issue mails. There is no pay-later option; your rep provides the payment form when you sign.
Cancellations must be made seven days before the artwork deadline and are subject to the terms of your contract.
No, it is optional and free, and most advertisers take it because it proves return on ad spend. You get a dedicated tracked number on your ad that rings to any line you choose, a whisper that tells you the call came from Home Pros, recordings kept for up to a year, daily, weekly or monthly reports, and per-call alerts. Your data is never shared.
Rates are in the media kit for your market. Request it and your rep will send it the same business day.
Tell us which market you serve and the rep for that edition will send the current media kit and call to talk through rates, deadlines and what is included.
